Hello everyone. As the title suggests I am looking for any ideas as to a color scheme to paint for my Elysian Drop troop army that I am putting together. I have browsed on the internet and it seems that I have been only ever to find and sees two kinds of color schemes:

-Green armor with Tan uniform
-Gray armor with Tank uniform

Now that is all well and good but I would like to see some variety! Just wanted to see if you guys had any ideas as to what would be a good looking color scheme to help me choose. I am open to all suggestions and appreciate the help guys, thank you!

19th Krieg Siege Army 7500pts.
40k/HH Night Lords 5000pts.
Orks Waaaghmacht Spearhead 2500pts.

Army painter went with a blue hue. Check out their website if you haven't already they've got some elysians on there.

(No I'm not advocating them, I don't agree with others painting your models.)

My Elysians are painted tan with grey armour (great minds think alike!) but I wash them heavily with Devlan Mud so the tan becomes a lot more ruddy. Let me dig up a picture for you.

Here's my counts-as Marbo conversion. I don't have any pictures of my actual Elysians - the only ones I can find are over a year old and they suck ass.

He was modeled in April, painted in May and retouched about 2 weeks ago. I'll take some pictures of my latest minis when I get off work tonight. I just finished some troopers to fill out a PCS last night. They were originally painted last summer (the sucky ones I was referring to) and I finally got around to paintstripping them and redoing them.

Sorry... Friday night i went out and drank with friends and drunk photography is not very easy.

Saturday I went to a friend's wedding and was gone all day. Plus, 6th released. And then I forgot all about this.

Here you go - they're not great photos but they work.

EDIT: More in case you wanted to see a bad one on my countertop with flash.
