So, I was thinking about imperial guard, and was wondering, What do people think about Imperial guard allying with a siege regiment, there's no enormous use I can think of, but they are technically not the same army, and the Death Korps of Kreig are fantastic models - I know there's no way of knowing just yet, but can you see it happening?

yeah i can see it happening. if you take the taros campaign there was elysian drop troops, a tallarn force and "ordinary" guard force present to complement eachother. in taros the death korps were planned as a support element too but were never comitted due to certain circumstances. so for them to be part of the same force attacking or defending seems perfectly fine to me.

On moon miranda.

If they're going to make distinct SM chapters "allies", why not Death Korps?

I don't think you'll have issues with it except against the most TFG-ish of opponents.

IRON WITHIN, IRON WITHOUT.

New Heavy Gear Log! Also...Grey Knights!
The correct pronunciation is Imperial Guard and Stormtroopers, "Astra Militarum" and "Tempestus Scions" are something you'll find at Hogwarts.

As long as you're allying with the actual Death Korps armylists and not a separate IG army list, then go for it! Perfectly legal.
