Greetings Dakkanauts!

As referenced in my earlier thread about the Witcher 2, I finally got round to loading it up to have a good few hours session this morning, and its not working!

The game seems to load ok, then the screen goes black and all I can see is the cursor presumably for the title screen. I can hear the music but have nothing else! Its really quite frustrating.... I have checked around the interwebz and all the known problems seem to be PC only. Nothing about the Mac at all....

Have any of you good folks out there had this problem? Is there anything I can do as I really want to play this game....

My Mac has the following specs: Lion Vers 10.7.4
2.5 Ghz Intel Core i5
4 GB DDR3
AMD Radeon HD 6750M 512mb

So hopefully its not the Macs problem?

Any help greatly appreciated, might even send someone a crate of their chosen Beer if they come up with a solution!

Here is the universal solution to any problem involving steam.

Right click on the game and select properties. (Whilst on the steam library page)

Then go to the local files tab and press"Verify intergrity of game cache"

Wait for it to do its thing.

If it says files have been reaquired or WTTA then it should work when you run it.

If it says all files are validated then run the game anyway.

If that doesn't help then I'm sorry.
