Has there been a time when one chapter gives a gift of some weapons or armor to another chapter as thanks for the support they provided? I want to know so I can try my had at writing fluff and modeling.

Blood Ravens do it all the time. Well, they steal stuff off other chapters them proclaim them relics. They also tried to give Ragnar Blackmane an axe. He declined.

This happens all the time between chapters. Power weapons, armor, relic bolters, various honors that may include advanced tech. The Blood Ravens are just the most infamous as they take advantage of this practice by stealing relics and equipment from other chapters and calling them gifts.

They call them "gifts", not gifts. They even do air-quotes with their power armor gauntlets when discussing them. This leads me to believe that the Blood Ravens are not, in fact, descended from the Thousand Sons, but rather a particularly kunning Lootaboy.

It is best to be a pessimist. You are usually right and, when you're wrong, you're pleasantly surprised. |

One thing that is very important to Space Marine Chapters is honour, so if they receive help from another chapter most will be honour bound to thank them, either in an item or oath.

its safe to say that relictors are the greatest army a man , nay human can own.

Other than the Blood Ravens, I can't think of any specific examples, pre-heresy the legions would make friends and exchange gifts on occasion though.
There certainly isn't anything saying they can't give gifts of honor or whatever though, as long as the situation deserves it.

And the gifts aren't always official in the sense that great ceremonies would be held. One Chapter giving some heavy weapons or a refurbished vehicle to another is an official thing, probably handled by a Captain or some higher officer while a ceremonial guard witnesses this. Greater gifts (ships maybe?) should surely be handled by the Chapter Master or his immediate circle of advisors.
An individual marine wishing to honor a battle brother from another Chapter might just exchange some piece of armor with him, or they could paint a small part of the other's heraldry in a place of honor on their armor. No great ceremony there, just an exchange of gifts and sharing the stories of that particular item if there is any.

Blood Ravens are not Orks lol!
They just fail to bring stuff they find to the rightful owner...
Then again i wouldnt fly to the other side of the galaxy to give back a sword someone failed to reclaim...
That AND the fact that BR did join some battle forces to help out so they very well might have been rewarded with some "gifts"
