I am really new to infinity having only watched a demo game and I bought someone's Yu Jing collection. I am not sure how to best use these models or what would be good to get to round this collection out. All advice is welcome (including you were a moron for buying these). Hi XpresoAdct, welcome to Infinity!
Looks like a good selection with a little bit of everything. Line troops (Zhanshi + Keisotsu), heavies (Hsien, Shang Ji, and Hac Tao), and specials (ninja, guiliang, and a doctor+helperbot).
It's usually best to learn the game at around 100-150 points, starting out with your line troops backed up by heavy infantry. Avoid the funkier rules first like Thermoptic Camo, and then slowly add new toys and rules as you go up. Here's a sample list at 150 using some of the guys you've got. The Zhanshis and Keisotsu are okay light infantry and "cheerleader" units for generating orders, the Guiliang gives you some reach and allows you to learn camo rules, the Shang Ji is a solid heavy infantry, and the Doctor and his helper bot allow you to patch people up.

Hello XpresoAdct!
It is a nice looking list, but it most likely has too many points (by 59) and it definitely has too many orders in one group.
Max per group is 10, so you'd have to split them up - and remember, you can't "share" orders between groups.
BUt you might not have to after trimming 59 points...

Hiya XpresoAdct-
That's a decent set to start with. It's got some great heavy infantry- the Hsien and Hac Tao are both great at special fire-support roles, and the Shang Ji is good for frontal assault. You also have a good setup for a shooty/defensive army. I' rate the Hac Tao or Hsien better for that than the ninja sniper. The Gilang will play well for a defensive setup no matter what.
With that in mind, you probably want to pick up some more support troops and lieutenant choices, to back up all your specialized HI. A set of Celestial Guard would do you well- they make a great high-WIP/low-SWC choice. They also make good hackers- although the HI you have there are so well-protected (-6 BTS for them all) that they may not need a defensive hacker.
One of Yu Jing's core tactics is the use of smoke to cover aggressive advances, as well as sneaky visor-shots through said smoke. You're already got a Hsien HMG, who is the nasty shooter for that combo. To provide the smoke, you'll want to pick up that Celestial Guard with Kuang Shi controller and light smoke grenade launcher. She's the best long-range smoker. After that, a monk or two can get you more smoke (grenades) for very cheap too.
Eventually you'll probably find that you want to try one of the sectorials too. In that case, you've got a good start on Japanese (lots of Keisotsu).

Infinity: Way, way better than 40K and more affordable to boot!
