In the 5th BRB DCCW stated on page 73 that "a Dreadnought close combat weapon (DCCW) is a power weapon is a power weapon and doubles the walkers strength in close combat (up to a maximum of 10). In our shiney new 6th edition, page 60, DCCWs states "some troops are armed with huge close combat weapon...." and no mention of the word walker. In my interpretation the Nemesis Doom Fists are now brought in line as intended originally to be s x2 to a mximum of 10. Thoughts?

I'm afraid I must agree with this interpretation, especially since they removed the question from the FAQ regarding hte benefits of the DCCWs and Dreadknights.

Greebo had spent an irritating two minutes in that box. Technically, a cat locked in a box may be alive or it may be dead. You never know until you look. In fact, the mere act of opening the box will determine the state of the cat, although in this case there were three determinate states the cat could be in: these being Alive, Dead, and Bloody Furious.

But what does it say about what the DCCW actually does? That's just saying that some troops can have one.

Alrighty, I must fulfill the whole quote "Some tropps are armed with huge close combat weapons-hammers,wrecking balls, claws, and other crushing impliments of death." thats all was mentioned in the quote. The profile then reads s x2 ap2.

In which case, yes, going by that Dreadknights would gain the strength boost.
