Bone sword: Not a power weapon, just ignores armour saves?

They are going to need it when playing ShootyK, as most of the game will be shooting now.

Honestly it makes no difference, unless you pay 10 points per warrior, shrike, or on the tyranid prime. Since the only other ones with the boneswords are monstrous creatures, which get smash so attacks are made at AP 2, you essentially are ignoring armor saves.

Why would this even be a question? It was never a power weapon in 5th, why would it be in 6th?

It says it ignores "armour saves", so it ignores them. Yes I know we complain about GW not being able to write correctly, but this time, I would have to say it's the players who do not know how to read properly, or is just so use to GW sloppiness, that is what all they see now.

I am willing to give that to nid players 6th shafted them just as bad as 5th. Stupid rob crud and that FAQ.

really i have been hearing a lot of nid players I know become very excited about 6th and i tend to agree with them. then again maybe that has just become internet wisdom now

Bone swords are not the only weapon with this. I also found warp spider powerblades. I'm sure there's others out there too. Perhaps an oversite, perhaps intentional, either way there's no armor save at all. In my opinion though, this isn't exactly a "buff" as they don't have the aditional armor pen from AP 2 like other things that ignore armor. Of course on MCs it is... but w/e, i'm rambling now.
