So how doe Imotekh's Lord of the Storm interact with the new Night Fighting rules? If the normal Night Fighting comes into play late in the game after Imotekh's ends, do you still roll for the lightning attacks? Kinda seems that way, but I'm not sure.

Just a note, but the 'normal' Night Fighting can also come into play at the beginning of the game depending on the dice roll.

I would assume you only get lightning attacks while his night fight is in place, since it can be canceled by other means (such as solar pulses). As soon as you roll for his to end, his attacks end.

Lord of the Storm says "...Night Fighting rules cease to be in effect and are not used for the rest of the battle". It means that Imotekh's special rule removes the possibility of night fight starting again on turn 5, assuming the original night fight has ended. When Imotekh is in play, night fight is always in effect turn one, and once the night ends, it will not return.

..and your assumption would be based on no rules whatsoever.

I'm curious, why do people reply to these rules threads with nothing but wishlisting or gut feelings? I swear most people who reply to these 6th edition questions don't even own the 6th edition rulebook.

Yes, but if it comes in on turn one, that is the only turn that you'll have Night Fighting in (aside from Imotekh), and since Imotekh also makes it night fighting on turn one, it really doesn't matter for this particular discussion.

I would agree if it made the distinction between his Night Fighting and normal Night Fighting from the scenario, but it doesn't.
