I just picked up some old metal terminators to start a World Eaters army. I chose them because I want to use the Zhufor model. I have only just got back into painting after about 15 years off, so I am starting my paint collection almost from scratch. I have heard good things about Vallejo Model Air, but happy to use GW as well (do they mix together?). Ideally, I would like to replicate the dull, tarnished looking colour scheme on this fantastic Zhufor model I found. Can anyone help with advice about how to get that earthy looking red for the armour?

Thanks!

Vallejo Game Color has a Terracotta, and Reaper Master series has a few different shades of red clay.

The base coat red in the new line looks nice over a black primer. Not sure of the name.
