So after pouring through the 6E rules and looking at the Tau codex i'm still yet to find an answer as to what the Dawn Blade count as, it's not a power weapon, but it ignores armor and does 2d6 dmg against vehicles and FAQ says nothing about it. Should i still run it as written in the codex?

if it's not a power weapon just follow it's rules, it still ignores all armour saves and does 2d6 penetration against vehicles, note that as it doesn't have an AP value it wont get a bonus on the damage table, even though it ignores armour like an AP 1 or 2 weapon.

+1 To Drunkspleen's interpretation. Since the Dawn Blade is not referenced as a 'power weapon' it's not AP3. It simply ignores armor saves in CC and has 2d6 Vehicle penetration.
