Not sure if this is in the right place or not,
Does anyone know if there is a game for 1:72 suffix figures?

From what I know, the Airfix company hasn't produced any rulesets for their 1:72 range.
That said, Ambush Alley Games' 'Force on Force' ruleset is compatible with 20mm (1:72) miniatures, using anything from WW2 and beyond.
if you use medieval figs, then I'd suggest a look at Warlord Games' Hail Caesar, or maybe even the new Pike and Shotte rules, released by them too.
Failing those, you could just make your own rules Thats what I've done.

I guess it depends what figures you have but I suggest trying some "old school" Featherstone or Charles Grant rules.
Another great source is games of War by John Bobek. This book is great fun, okay not the most detailed out there but enough to please anyone and loads of them

If you want to make your own rules, there's no reason not too, but 1/72 (20mm) is a reasonably common wargaming scale and there are dozens (probably hundreds) of rulesets that will work with that scale.
However, with 1/72 figures being available for almost every historical era, you forgot to include the most important detail of all.
What genre/era are you wanting to play?

As long as you have both sides (since your figs are a bigger than the 15mm that is standard), with the WWII stuff, you could play Flames of War.
I'm not as familiar with Napoleonics, but there are some great rulesets out there.
The cowboy figures could be used with the Legends of the Old West.
Your best bet would probably be to check the "Historical Games" section here at Dakka
http://www.dakkadakka.com/dakkaforum/forums/show/82.page
And then head over to The Miniatures Page where alot more historical gamers hang out.
http://theminiaturespage.com/
Post up (in the correct section) what you have, and what kind of rules you want to play (size, how long, how complex) and you should get lots of suggestions.
