Also question: is this just a mathhammer battle? or is it a specific battleground? if so, wat does the map look like? is it dense with terrain and cover, or is it an open plain? is it hilly, mountainous, or just flat?

how do banshees beat destroyers. youll just get shot to ribbons, and they move faster than you. there also toughness 5. armour save 4+ right for the banshees? but to beat wyches, ignoring the devs... 2 destroyers. can't catch me, you die. lets see, 4 dead a turn. if you can catch me, only your hexatrix, wounding on 6's can hurt me.

no there not. its just by the time the necron players get to put in a unit, the best option is destroyers. especially considering there one of the best units in the codex. moving like a jetbike, with toughness 5, and a 36" range gun thats strength 6, ap 4 and has 3 shots is pretty devestating. not to mention the fact that any shot glances/auto-wounds on a 6. to the sternguard i say 3 wraiths. ill kill you eventually! 123 points.

it might. depends what weapons. i honestly don't know. and currently am half asleep. just remeber they get 4 strength 6 attacks on the charge each.

can we actually be serious? 2 destroyers for the predator, risky but can pull it off, or a few pariahs in combat. ghazkull, pariahs to match his value, the sanguinor, destroyers to match his value.
and to beat the pariahs, destroyers. so go from 4 destroyers - 200 pts.
