Sounds intrigueing. I reckon it may hinge a lot on how exactly they include the naval combat. Not really interested in horses on caribbean islands, but the general combat style of M&B and the firearms as used in Napoleonic Wars do promise a lot of fun in general. I wonder how much variety the character customization will offer, too, considering it's pirates.
