I was discussing the CSM Daemon princes with wings with someone and he was adamant that they could perform a vector strike, I have read through the rules for it and cannot find anything that would allow a Jump MC to make a vector strike. From what I can tell it must be a Flying MC in Swoop mode.

You are correct. Chaos marine demon princes are not FMC.

No vector strike for dp or dk with teleporter.

yet. not yet. Hopefully faq gets updated, or worst case scenario, it gets updated in the new codex. I'd rather not wait until the new codex though

Probably thinks that because the WD bat rep had winged daemon princes being flying.

So the guys in the WD were playing their CSM daemon prince wrong, or did I miss something

Wrong twice, as vector strike was then said to have D3+2. It happens.

Well it seems as if the went out of their way to make sure the CSM Daemons with wings and DK with teleporter were not classified as flying MCs

This. The number of attacks is definitely an error, and the CSM Daemon Prince is definitely not an FMC. That said, it may well be an example of GW using rules from the upcoming CSM codex in the battle report.
