No where in the rule allows me to remove the flyer from the stand, yet the pix of the Skyshield Landing Pad depicts a Valk(or is it Vend) on there.

So is this only fluffy and not for real game plays?
Can I "land" my flyer on the Skyshield Landing Pad?

If a skimmer is immobilized it can land. If you are in hover mode you can't transform back into a flyer when you are immobilized, you are stuck being a skimmer right?

It's for deep striking, you cannot fly and deep strike since you are moving less then 18 inches.
