So if the Codex trumps BRB for specific armu rules, why do I feel like Eldar jetbikes lose the 3+ cover for turbo boosting?

Eldar jetbike never had a 3+ cover save for turbo boosting, they do however confer a 3+ armour save which they still have.

3+ cover was for turboboosting as per the USR which is now gone and replaced with a 4+ jink save. However we now have a 48" turboboost, 5+ jink at all times, and can use psy powers before turboboosting... fair trade.

However, the 3+ cover save for turboboosting has been rolled into the Skilled Rider special ability - which some Eldar Jetbikes (Shining Spears, for example) can get. So, if they have Skilled Rider, then Jink is 4+/3+. If not, then it's 5+/4+.

So trained jetbike warriors are actually better at evading fire than Guardians! Say it ain't so!

All Dark Eldar jetbike units have it standard. That 3+ Jink looks niiice.
