So since SOB do not have any flyers or dedicated AA gunz, I put a list together that contained depending on the point list
1-3 vendettas
in a squadron and 1-3 hydras
I would also take a Primaris Psyker to get some much needed Psychic powers and a veteran squad with plasma +/- Chimera with points

My sisters unit would consist of
St. Celestine
Uriah
Entourage for Uriah 3 Crusaders and 4-7 death cult assasins in rhino

Troops sisters with Melta, MM x3 in rhinos
don't have my WD in front of me, but the scout squads x3 Melta by two in Immolator melta
Exorcists 3-6 depending on point cost....

Think this is a good list potential
has AA gunz, Flyers, troops in PA that can kill vehicles, Scouts to scout move and pop vehicles, a CC group to stay in back and deal with CC shenanigans.....
What does everyone think?

Well I think the combination works great... I guess no one else thought it was worth commenting on, cheers all

Well, I can't really comment on the Sisters of Battle contingent, since I have no experience with them and don't even have the requisite issues of White Dwarf.

As for the Imperial Guard, the Primaris Psyker isn't all that great. He might be a bit better with the new disciplines. Don't know that he's "much needed", though. My read of the new rules is that you can get by perfectly fine without any psykers of your own.

I think that squadrons of Hydras, on the other hand, will be nearly mandatory in any list that can take them. I personally won't be buying any fliers, but I suspect many will jump on that bandwagon so you'll need the AA. Hydras are relatively cheap and effective (although I'm unhappy that they only got skyfire and not interceptor).

The vendettas/valkyries seem like a bit of a waste without someone inside of them. You could take a company command squad instead of the primaris psyker and but it and the vets into the flyers. Would make for a neat "imperial reinforcement" contingent for your sisters fluff-wise.

The rest ... what points level are you looking at cramming all of this into?

I still want to scream every time someone suggests allying Sisters with a psyker.

I suppose I should have gotten used to the whole psyker thing, but the Witch Hunter Inquisitors powers stunk so badly no one ever took them. There's just not enough material in the SoB articles to determine if the Sisters have reverted to their old "the only good psyker, is a dead psyker" 'tude.

It will still make more sense than all of the necron allies we'll be seeing in most armies.

I agree Necrons Bro fisting it with Blood Angels.. come one... and Tau being brothers at arms with Space Marines... Really?

Same could be said about the Black Templars Bro Fisting it with the Grey Knights, since they are all psychers too... You would think Black Templars and SOB would be brothers or sisters at arms, but no...

As to the point level question... really only trying on 1850 or higher points... potentially could at 1500pts, but less than that and allies eat up a lot of points... I still do not know how to completely feel on the whole allies thing as I still like the purity of playing a whole army by itself, the problem is that Sisters and Eldar and Tau that I play have not flyers or AA stuff, yes you can buy the Aegis defense line or Bastions or Fortress of Redemption, but that seems like too. Ohe well, I guess that is how 6th ed is going to be... Cheers and thanks so much for posting.

@NWansbutter
vendettas are definitely not a waste with no troops inside them, it lets them be a mobile lascannon platform. and now with the S10 hit you take when it crashes i think very few people will put troops in vendettas

@elluj
i wouldnt worry about cheese in this edition yet, things are still getting settled and i think that the cheese factor will be exponentially higher in this edition compared to last, so i wouldnt worry about deploying the aegis, or hydras, or vendettas

Think about fortress of redemption. It gives you a very good antiflyer gun, then it can give you 4 TL heavy bolters which should deal with flyers.

Then it is 4 av14 buildings for you to hide in. It is hard to break that apart from in cc.

Do not take Hydras. They are bad. If you have to take something, take an aegis or bastion with a quad.

Also, don't take a Fortress of Redemption, most events won't let you run it.

I think a Primaris is a good choice as a Count-as Hereticus Inquisitor. Even if it makes pzbw7z cry, I'm gonna do it.

I saw that this model was coming out in Finecrap.... Though by the time most of this stuff comes out.. I will already have my whole army...

To Dajobe -- Thanks and I agree, with the allies, I think there will be so much cheese going on that it will be hard for me to feel bad about taking Sisters with IG as there are far more powerful allies out there....
