Are there no Dark Eldar HQ selections that can be taken on Reaver bikes... Theres the one with a board but no bike..

No.

There was the option of taking one as wargear, along with taking a hellion board as wargear iirc (in the ancient codex) , but no biker hq's these days.

Sathonyx is the only hq with a board these days.

Goddamnit -.- ... Even with the nerf to vehicles im still running a vehicle heavy'ish setup because I want that space pirate raider / fast movement gameplay when I play my games and I thought it might just have been me... but that seriously sucks there's no bike HQ it must be one of the few if not the only Codex that has Bikes as an option that can't actually take a HQ riding one and with no valid fluff reasons, as dark eldar seem to revel there bikes quite highly.

You could ally in an autarch on bike from the Eldar dex.

Not the same, but better than nothing.

I would have loved to be able to put an Archon or Succubus on a bike.

It actually makes sense, even though it sucks since reavers are kinda bottom of the barrel types and tend to go over to the flyers if they ever get out of the jetbike lifestyle. It doesnt make a ton of sense for a reaver to become a major leader as they favor small, jetbike exclusive gang lifestyles.

but i do miss it from the 2nd ed dex, since they got such a huge buff this edition.

I'd be running a reaver army if it was possible just because I love their looks. And think about all of those conversions. I did create a Reaver HQ and it is still somewhere around the proposed rules if you'd like to use it in friendly games.

Yeah, which also brings to it if the hellions get a character xD why no bikes!

An archon on foot or even on a raider and with any unit he has with him is going to be fairly awkwardly used in my army as I try and keep an equal pace army!

As for eldar, 2000pts I do plan on bringing in farseer and etc on jetbikes, not autriach though at least. I haven't looked into it. My only HQ for 1500pts is a Haemonculus for its pain token in the wych's raider because I can't place any of the other HQ's in my list @.@

I run wyches. Succubi with bloodbrides in a venom. Wyches in venoms. Beastmaster unit. Loads of reavers. Razorwing jetfighters. Not the best list but the point is that I love that list.

I have to admit a Reaver army would be awesome, they should've included a Reaver HQ in there which would allow you to take standard ones as troop, i might even consider doing DE then

@Gaovinni I run a similar list, my 1500pts sees about 4 venoms with warriors, 1 raider with wyches, 3 razorwing fighters and 10 reavers

Its my 2000pts+ that would see this character (I may end up just custom making it and asking permission or something) as of yet the only biked character is a seer council from my eldar allies that will be modelled like Dark Eldar on reavers without the obvious flails.

I am going to convert the reaver HQ I made rules for and ask permission to use it if I feel like going with a full reaver list (it has a rule that allows reavers as troops). But for the moment I have another project going on.
