Hey peoples! Now, I must say before I start I'm not a massive fan of the 40k as I'm mainly interested in LotR. However Warhammer 40k does have some interesting architecture so I've decided to start of with basics. The is the front panel of a ruined apartment that I shall be making a mould of to reproduce (and hopefully sell if people are interested). The model is largely built of just foam, with a coat of DAS clay to represent the concrete finish. The windows will have cathedral stained windows which will be cast out of resin (the master is actually in the mould now and just drying, so I shall show you later). I should be progressing on this project quick enough, so I'll try and keep ya's updated. The models nice and simple at the moment, but hoepfully I'll gradually build other 40k things where I can have more detail. If you have any suggestions on what I can add to make the model look better, please give me a shout. Here's the progress so far so tell me what you think.

Cheers folks

Here's an update. I've made a mould of the wall panel and have already made a cast. So far so good. I shall start working on the next side now.

Now if only that was a double sided cast. I have no idea how hard that is to pull off. Casting is one of those aspect of modeling I have not gotten much in to yet.
