Heard of this...what is it? Something to do with the Fateweaver I suppose. What would a sample list look like?

Not sure, but from the context I can assume that is a Daemon list where you take as many monstrous creatures as you can and give them wings/daemonic flight and fly around the battlefield swoop attacking things, etc.

So something like Fateweaver; Lord of change; Deamon Prince w/wings, MOT, BOT*3; and a hell of a load of horrors/flamers?

Basically, you can now have a unit type called 'Flying Monsterous Creature'. So a Flying Circus is just as many FMC as possible into 1 list.

Yeah normally 5 flying MCs, for a lot more durablility and movement.... expensive points wise, but can be deadly. Although, no one has perfected the list, it looks promising!

The list has incredible resilience to shooting since most units will only hit on 6s and you get rerolled saves from the Fateweaver. However, I am skeptical that it is actually a strong build. Fateweaver, 3 Tzeentch Princes, and a Lord of Change will run more than 1000 points. For this cost you get 5 Strength 8 AP1 shots and ~15 Strength 5 vector strikes every turn. This simply isn't enough firepower to clear a parking lot. Against AV10 you are looking at 2.2 penetrating hits each turn for 1 explodes result and 1.6 glances and pens from the vector strikes for another destroy. Your numbers get significantly worse against higher AV since your vector strikes stop being useful.

If we adjust the loadout on the princes to include Breath instead of Bolt then we lose some anti tank but gain a HUGE anti-meq presence. Against an army like Space Wolves that doesn't run much mech beyond Rhinos this would be devastating. Against an IG parking lot their 10+ vehicles will laugh at you for the entire game.

I'm just skeptical that opening 1 or 2 chimeras every turn is worth a 1000 point death star. That said, it does look like a build worth testing. Tzeentch Heralds may no longer be the best HQ option for us.

I find it more effect to run assualt princes and a bloodthrister instead of an actual flying circus.... just swooping mode when they deepstrike on need to get across the board....

Lots of lists have difficulty with parking lots, eh.
Against a "standard" list multiple flying monsterous creatures let you avoid small arms fire, and smash apart vehicles pretty easily. BOT+3 S10 attacks on the charge, hitting on 3s and against back armour 10. Sounds grand to me
I think giving breath to the FMCs is imperative, making the enemy pick between them and the flamers.

Well, given a MC BOT and Breath of Chaos is a lot of points.... I argee with you 100%, but the only issue is, its pricey!

Bear in mind that breath can glance one or more vehicles, which has become more important in 6th, as well as the parking lot becoming more obsolete. Personally I'm not bothering with the mark or bolt of tzeentch on my princes, too pricey.

Why must I always choose beween certain death and probable death.

I agree, breath spam is fairly effect againist tanks..... and the MCs still have vector strike and assult.

Can we use vector strike when we are in "Gliding Form"?

Have template rules changed? In 5th you had to cover as much of the target unit as possible, which 99% of the time meant just the one vehicle.
Also a 24" S8 AP1 weapon at BS5 is pretty hot, especially how easily they can get side/back armour.
