This is a brilliant resin miniature from Warforge. I really loved painting her up- especially the face.

She's lovely! I've got 2 of those models myself, still in the package. I'm not confident in my painting to do her justice.

Cozy cockpit of an Archer ARC-5S

Indeed a lovely model, I personally swapped out the gun for something a bit more elegant.

Great job! I agree with brook though, gun looks a bit clunky.
How did you find the quality of the casting?

The day I painted her up, I had her and a finecast mini on the table. The casting on her was terrific- you can really see why resin is considered a superior medium. She needed very little cleaning, and the surfaces took the paint very well.

The finecast mini made me wonder how these very small companies can make resin minis better than GW.

Some Tomb World in some galaxy by that one thing in that one place (or Minnesota for nosy people)

well theres a reason GW named their resin failcast and not just resin or something like the rest of their mini lines

I swear I think those two have a hate-crush on each other sometimes.

She looks awesome! I think the gun looks a little big for her, but honestly I think bolt pistols always look clunky on normal humans. Still looks great!

Of course: huge cleavage and high heels. Too much to ask for a realistic model.

That's why I like the sisters of battle, power armored bitches with (most of the time) a battle ready outfit.

Do you think you could link to where you found the resin model? I can only seem to come up with the metal version. She's a really nice looking model. Sexy but not completely ridiculous

You certainly did the model justice, as usual. However, I agree the gun is clunky, and I find her outfit under the commissar coat to be a little too pirate-y. Those are comments more on the model itself, of course. Your painting is very nice.
