Hi Guys,

I'm currently in exile in London, and i'm looking for a game of 40k at the weekend to keep me amused! I'd like to record it for my video blog as well if that would be ok, and i'd be using my "away form home painting project" (Sang Guard) . Is anyone in the area up for this? Or woudl recommend somewhere to play?

Yeah I'm interested. You usual see me posting in London threads since I still can't find a stable group... though there's a pub group in interested in trying out (posted below)

Generally try searching older thread for your answers, here's what I know to save time:

Other than Oxford Street Games Workshop there are three places that I know off for clubs in central London:

Cross Gaming Group (outside London Bridge, in pub)

Darksphere (model shop outside Waterloo, specific day for 40k night)

And another club hosted in a pub, though I have yet to try... I will be visiting soon. Clapham Wargamers

All of these have 1/2 day hosting, usually 6-11ish. Each club requires a fee to play and a reserved booking from the forums, Darksphere I think being the cheapest I believe

If you could give me more information about timing and hosting (at your place?), I should help you out.

I have enough points for a Necron/Tyranid/Imperial Guard/Ork army to fight. Though my Black Templars are not ready yet

I Can;t hist unfortunately (as I am cooped up in a hotel that is very tiny!), I'd be looking to take the army I have with me to a venue in London. I'd like to do it on Saturday if possible? Or failing that a night early evening next week?

If you can make those, any of the armies that you've listed is fine for me to take on. It will be my first game of 6th as well!

I've had a few 6th test games, so I help as much as I can.

There are some clubs I know south-eastern London, but even I List them, those clubs AND the ones I posted above are not hosted on saturdays.
If you are finding a venue, I can't help there. Also let me know the time & location as soon as possible, so I can prepare in advantage.

Does anyone know any London areas to host?

I've just received word that I might go to an event during the day tomorrow.
If you plan to meet up 6.00 or later, I need to know tomorrow morning when I wake up, and even then it might not work.

To be honest, you should've posted earlier so more people would be prepared, it's too little time.
