Thats a great way to make roads. How flexible are they when they are done?

I have been using 3mm MDF board and cutting it how I want it. Then gluing the whole peice and sifting sand on it all (Much like sandpaper) I then paint the edges green and sprinkle flock on it while painting the roads. Coems out looking alot similar to yours except the MDF is quite rigid.

Good tutorial. I've been planning to make some roads, this might get me to finally make them.
