Hey guys.

I'm new to magnetising, and I am thinking of buying a dread knight but I'm Just wondering how you would magnetise a dread knight?

What tools are needed and also what size magnets are needed.
Thanks.

I put magnets into the Right 'wrist' socket (where the pin for the hand fits) and one on the closed R fist and sword hands. Gave me the option of using either paired fists or the sword.

Also put one each into the body of the two weapons mounted on each arm (just behind where the muzzles of the weapons sit) and another magnet into each of the muzzles. Lets me use any of the three weapons (have a spare searchlight part that also fits there if I only wanted to run one gun).

Two more on top, so I could attach his "personal teleport array" if I needed it.

3mmx1mm. They fit into the sockets in the wrists more or less perfectly (held in place with a small amount of GS and superglue.).

Stubs on the hands were shortened by a couple of mm and a magnet (polarity matched to the socket) was glued into place there.

Weapon muzzles required making a socket to fit and patching with GS.

Personal teleporter on top was made from a couple of CoD lighting bits.

Here is is armed with heavy incinerator, heavy psilencer, greatsword and personal teleporter.

This one shows the magnetised points. That's the psilencer muzzle up on top and the sword hand on the right arm weapon mount.
