I'm was wondering about timing issues for MSS and Challenges.
"Challenges are issued at the start of the Fight sub-phase,before anyblows are struck"
MSS happen at same time:
"At the start of the Fight sub-phase, randomly select an enemy model in base contact with the bearer of the mindshackle scarabs."

So, which goes first? Options are really:

"At other times, you'll find that both players will have to do something at the same time. When these things happen, the player whose turn it is decides the order in which the events occur."
