Hey,

if the enemy got something that works well vs your Stegadons, you are screwed

I´d consider more bodies (bigger Saurusblocks), add in some Scarvets to strenghten your core blocks.
Personally, I dont think you need/want a EotG when you got a slann. Let the Skinkpriest walk/ mby get him a feathercloak for flying.
Then you can drop the Heroes choice Stegadon for some Scarvets

- OR -

get a skink chieftain onto the Stegadon with the infamous warspeer for some fast charges/flanks.
In that case you might drop the rare Stegadons for some Sallys for additional Shooting/Panic

Of course you could drop the Stegadons entirely, but it feels like you want them =)

Note: These are hints I found useful in competitive games, your list would work the way you posted it though in friendly games. In case you want to keep the stegadons I´d only drop 1 or both Unit(s) of Skinks in favor of some more Saurus, since you already have a lot of poison/blowpipes from the Ancient Stegadons.

Your going to have people talking to you about your large targets being killed but realistically the chance of a one shot cannon ball killing an ancient stegadon are quite slim, by law of averages you'd need two cannons to hit and wound the steg to kill it, factor in that your list has more dangerous parts then your steg and that only four armies have access (but that doesn't mean you'll play them, or that they'll be used) to cannons.

I'm of a mixed opinion. I love stegs so having 3 is great. You've got protection for them via Pha's and EoG ability. Only problem is how to tactically use them. You dont really want the EoG getting into combat as skink will get slaughtered. I think a dawnstone will help him. Maybe drop a magic level. But still the big problem for all monsters now is steadfast, unless you can guarantee a double/triple charge, even your blocks are a bit small for combating steadfast. Slann wise standard of discipline will help. Temple guard maybe burning standard instead. Razor has its uses against high armour but flaming better IMO

I like stegies however sallies are amazing. They will chew through hordes and pretty hard to kill.

I would agree - I would have swapped one of the ancients out for 2 Salamanders and some extra bodies. I've found they work wonders against Skaven hordes and really put a damper on TK and VC armies. I like the ability to channel through my EotG and the lightning bolt that comes from the EotG is also very helpful at clearing out tar pit units. What you need to do is try out all 3 lists and figure out which works best with your play style.

Alsoi see now you are running scar vets. Ive used a list with a vet on a cold one with dawnstone. Its pretty nasty
