I admit, I probably know the answer to this one myself, but maybe it'll enlighten someone else.

Vibrocannon, can it wound models that the crew/gun can not see? (Yes, it can get HITs, but can it wound?)

In shooting phase, you can only allocate wounds to models in the target unit that can be seen by at least one model in the shooting unit.

So what happens if you fire a blast weapon and it scatters to hit a unit completely out of sight? Do they not take wounds at all?

The Vibrocannon does not require line of sight to things hit. At the moment there is no answer to this type of mechanic and it will need an FAQ to fix.

The Barrage rule strongly hints that weapons that may fire indirectly may wound models out of line of sight. More than this, Barrage states that models are killed from middle of marker(s) out.

Happyjew: blast markers specifically gives you permission to wound models out of line of sight and out of range.

Barrage states to wound allocate from the center hole. It could be assumed you allocate from the line it's self, but there is no answer.

Vibro-cannons aren't barrage weapons though.

Hive Guard can also cause wounds to units outside of Line of Sight.

Good point. HIWPI, if a weapon hits a unit that is entirely out of los, then you ignore the only visible models can be wounded rule.

Rules quote for that one?

Strangely enough the Artillery section refers to the Barrage rules as if they specifically say that you don't need LoS.

If it's a blast or large blast weapon it is allowed to wound a model out of line of sight. They may also scatter and wound models out of range.

Shandara: Barrage does state that you may fire indirectly and that firing indirectly does not require line of sight and interestingly enough barrage weapons may fire on targets inside minimum range.

Reference on being allowed to wound a model out of LoS when you scatter blast/L blast? Page 16 is really blunt about No LoS = No capability to wound and page 6 doesn't show any exception.

Barrage Weapons can indirectly fire within minimum range.
