Saw this prowling around the web.

Don't know how it plays, but I am interested if it is any good.

Basic zombie game in 15mm. You can play it in large and small scales, and there seems to be a campaign system in there, as well.

Any comments appreciated. ( Interested, but not 119.00 bucks interested... yet.)

I'm not sure why a company, that makes miniatures, does'nt have pictures of the miniatures on their site. Poor planning.

I went to a show last year where there was a company selling minitures from there booth.. but did not have any on display. they were all in plastic tubs behind the table...

So the Customer would have to know what they want, ask for it, and then the vendor has to shuffle through the stock to find if they have it.

At least Forgeworld has a catalog to look through.

It appears that they make the game bundled with another companies miniatures.

I did find a link on there with some horrendously painted minis and games in progress. The main game package ($100+ with no picture of the contents ) has a link on the top right going to a Store that sells loads of differant 15mm ranges and not really as prolly painted as the USA:ZW site.

Different companies. Rebel Minis makes the minis. I bought them as well as Red Ops5 rules from Two Hour Games. You can choose Modern US, British SAS, Russian Spetznaz, Chinese, African, civllians, police etc. Customize the force you want to field. 15mm models, surprising detail for the size.

And yes, zombie pack 1 has a little girl holding a teddy bear.

Listed below are the packs I have bought thus far:

Rebel minis website http://rebelminis.com

This is the Modern US Infantry Command pack (21 figures, $10.99)

US Special forces (20 figures, $9.95)

Bio-Hazard Zombie Hunters (12 figures, $6.95)

Modern Zombie Pack 3 (21 figures, $10.95)

Modern Zombie Pack 2 (20 figures, $9.99)

Modern Zombie Pack 1 (22 figures, $11.99)

Anyone know how this game plays?

Kinda interested, but the lockdown on information is really making it iffy.

The minis are nice, and you can play them with other rule sets as well. As said, Im using the same minis with Red Ops5 and thats a quick fun game. You can download the PDF of the Undead States of America for $12.50 and build up your own set (which is what Im gonna do). Wish I had an actual ingame review for you :(

Its a lot of fun. My small gaming group plays a spin off of this game pretty often. Mini's aren't that detailed but they work. It's a blast when there are 7 or 8 survivors mowing down hundreds of zombies.

I just wanted to jump into this conversation and offer up any information that you might need. I am the webmaster for Uber Goober Games (the company that makes Undead States of America), and I know Steve (the guy who created the game) very well because he's my first cousin. He is currently in Africa doing something for the military, so his access to the Internet is extremely limited. But if you have any questions feel free to ask them here or on our Facebook page, and we will do our best to answer them as quickly as possible.

I personally have never played the game, so I won't pretend to know how it plays. But I have spoken to many people over the years and have heard very favorable things. Steve is a lifelong tabletop gamer, and this is one of several games he has crated from the ground up. Undead States of America is supposed to be more of a zombie *war* game than a skirmish or escape-from-the-city kind of game, though there are plenty of options for doing those, too.
