I decided to try my hand at some weathering and battle damage on my company champion, make him look like he'd been in close combat. Sorry for the bright pictures, my light source is the sun, so I am at the mercy of the elements.

nice job overall, the only thing i might add is a little weathering on the hilt/his sword arm, but other than that spot on, not overdone.

That is not a marine to mess with. Love the way he looks. Are all those wounds fresh, or are some old? While cut and battered, there is no blood/ichor/etc, to show he was in a fight recently.

He looks great as is. Without the gore, he's on a long campaign, with time to clean the battle from his armor, but not to have the techmarine sit down and repair it.

I like it a lot! The lack of gore is a good thing in my book.

The helmet makes him look badass. Sweet stuff.

The scratches on the helmet look really good with the lens light also out that side.
