hey guys, ive played fantasy a bit, and have really been enjoying my skaven. but i think i want to play another army, i was thinking of which army to start next but couldnt really decide. whats your guys opinions on armies?

Sort of vague... but I would recomend going to a few of the army specific sites, just google em, and check them out. I would read a few army lists and battle reports. Make sure the cool looking army you want to build is viable and that you also like the tactics that army is designed around.

I'f you're looking for something that plays different than skaven maybe a more "elite" army will be best Ogres, WoC or even Elves and lizards seem like good candidates, anything with less models really.

An elite army has few but effective models, an ogre is basically three marauders squished into one.

If you are looking for army that does well in competitive games ogres, daemons or DE are the best choices. WoC is also very good army in competitive games atm, but is next army to get new AB and in 8th edition only 1/5 of the new books were better than the old ones. I'm quite sure that at least they will lose their chosen/knights/warriors+favour of the gods+2x shrines combo.
