I was looking on the GW sight and I can't find them anywhere. Anyone know if GW pulled them from sales?

Holy I didn't realise that! Maybe they are gunna make us some bigger Gunz for da boyz.

I do hopes so I have a slight Guard and Nid Infestation to deal with and any size blast I can muster is welcomed. Of course I can always Bash em' with da boyz but theirs sooooo many of them.

Finecast, my friends. We aren't due for a codex update yet, so the amount of models they have pulled from the site(big guns, MANz, flash gits, Badrukk, snikrot, and a couple others) are codex levels of update.

Given that we are not rumored to bet getting that, I'd be willing to bet the farm that they are simply remolding these into finecast.

Frankly, the existing ones are pretty gacky looking these days. Finecast won't improve them any.

Actually check out the How to in my signature.. You could build a zap gun for less than 2 dollars.. I should have the Kannon tutorial up in about 2 weeks..

They're wonky, weird kits with plastic wheels if I recall correctly. A Finecast/plastic hybrid kit is all but unheard of outside of the old Hive Tyrant. I can see it happening, but I'd much rather have something along the lines of the IG heavy weapons squad kit but with grots instead! Even so, random models do occasionally get updated outside of a dedicated army release. The Eldar heavy weapons platform came out around the same time as the Night Spinner or whatever it's called.

being that fine cast has gotten progressively worse I'll probably just use some dwarf cannons from fantasy. I'm working on a Dwarf army atm any way and they go for cheap on e-bay. I'll just pick up some grots for the crew.

I wouldn't say it's gotten progressively worse; it's improved just not by enough. Even so, conversions from metal to Finecast models tend to be where most of the miscasts happen, while models specifically designed for the material generally come out better. Regardless, as an Ork player I wouldn't be able to stomach buying something so easy to convert unless it had a suitably kickass plastic kit!

my fun conversions are going to be in my looted wagons and warbosses being that this is mostly a unit I'll be using for games with friends I just want something to be a filler.

I will be pretty stoked if they make soem of the models kits, bgi bunz kits or manz kits in plastic or finecast either case woudl make me happy. manz were like 20 bucks a model so i made some out of termies but i'd buy more if they were like terminators 5 to a pack for 50 bucks

also remodeled flashgits would be welcome as currently they look... dumb as hell tie with buggies for the worst gw models for orks

I know Mega Armored Nobz are coming to Finecast soon. I hope MANz get a plastic kit though; I hate the hackneyed Terminator conversions and Finecast/metal kits at 20 bucks a dude is crazy talk.

What Flash Gits are you talking about? There's a single model and it's pretty cool, but not spectacular.

They are probably fine casting them, they did the same thing to the Hive Tyranid, pulled it then re-released it.

They probably didn't even pull them, they just ran out of stock.

I agree to most, they are pretty ugly. About anything you can do with a pen and a pair of lego wheels is going to look better.

As for finecast, I was pretty happy with my finecast Thrakka at first, but especially the finecast KFF mek is giving me a headache. I have been checking blisters at five stores now (about two dozen models), and have yet to find one that doesn't have a major defect, extreme mold-lines or bend parts.
I'm now looking to simply getting a second metal one off ebay.

They are rumored to be released in finecast on July 21st. Which means preorders will be available in a few days. Somebody wrote a whole thread on it, I can't seem to find it at the moment.

I am glad. I was just going to get Badrukk to add to my wicked Flash Gitz a few days ago and I saw that they were gone. I don't like metal models, too much repainting.

The rerelease of Badrukk is nice, given how FG are now somewhat worth taking. However, we need a plastic MANz box, a platic FG box, and a big guns box. It is easy, people will buy loads of the MANz and maybe start taking big gunz, and nobody hates plastic.

the official flash gitz model to me looked like it belonged in warhammer fantasy. it was holding an old style musket and wearing a bandana liek a pirate with a squig standing liek a parrot on its shoulder ... i did not like that one

yeah i like the targeting squig, but i dont like how he looks. he doesnt look like a rich git in any way. definitely doesn't look like how my flash gitz turn out

Not sure if anyones mentioned but big gunz are now £18.50 a piece up for preorder on GW.

MANZ are £15 a piece finecast.

yep they just all went finecast and the price went up... big gunz are now $30 a piece in finecast... its a 20 point model that is $1.50 per point making it one of the priceiest point per model things gw offers... yea i'll keep my homemade kannonz made from the kannonz from the bw... mega nobz are no a little over 50 cents per point which is still rediculous and its finecast not plastic.

oh and same dumb looking flash gits guess i'll keep converting AoBR nobz with cooler guns

oh and mega nobz seem to be kombi scorcha and kombi rokkit only no standard >_<

fail gw... phail there is no reason to finecast a meganob there aren't fine details that are needed its a pretty boxy model

I'm sure they'll eventually get the Plastic treatment, and then i can go back to kicking myself again

yep looks like i'll keep butchering and kit bashing nobz bitz from hoard o bitz combined with AoBR terminators to make mega nobz

The fantasy Black Orks (i think... the heavy armour ones) might work too..
