Hello, Dakka! With Sixth Edition coming out, I thought I would sign up with Dakka and actually get to work on the heaps of lead. I'm not very interesting, and the 4 lines in my signature really say the lot. I took my name from the dapper chap played by Jonathan Firth in the film 'Luther', which actually gives Cardinal Aleander a pretty bad press! I thought Firth's portrayal would make quite a good Inquisitor, and I'm a sucker for anything Renaissance-y, so I thought I would give a shot at an Inquisition-themed army and try and work in a bit of the grandeur of Italy at the time. I hope His Eminence would have a sense of humour and not mind!

Hi,

Welcome to Dakka

You can never have too many crazy Scots! Welcome fellow newcomer

Whereas to an englishman the taking of a sledgehammer to crack a nut is a wrong decision and a sign of mental immaturity, to a russian the opposite is the case. In russian eyes the cracking of nuts is clearly what sledgehammers are for.
