hey,
i waas wondering what the deal is with the high elves as ive just "re-started" playing again and have 3000pts.
my queery is this, in the rule book it states that all army must have (at least/up too)

25% lords/heros
25% core units
50% special
25% rare

now my question is this, - i notice that (for example) my high elves have for a 2000pt army, they can feild:

1core
5 special
2 rare

how would this work if i was playing a 3000pt battle and i have to spend like 750 on core (when i only need to feild 2 core units) when i have potentially like 6 specal units... wouldnt this inflict the purpose of high elves being able to take "extra" special units into battle?

anyway... your help is great

Its all in the FAQ and main rulebook its very clear. Follow the normal rulebook rules for percentages and double the amount of duplicate specials and rares you can take. (thats how HEs get 4 great eagle into list)
