If i had a combined squad of 40 men and they all take krak grenades for the cost shown and are used in assualt I have 2 questions:
1) Does this mean they can only be used on charge?
2) Does this mean instead of rolling to wound with the gaurdsmen strength instead i would use the chracteristics of the krak grenade for each gaurdsman?
This has come up as my opponent has a necron tombstalker which regularly charges me and tar pits me up and krak grenades seem a good solution provided they work how i'm imagining.

True, if you can get all 40 guardsmen into position to be allowed to attack in Close Combat that is.
I have a little hobby-thread going in the P&M section. Some say it's the best blog on Dakka, some don't agree, most belive it would be better if I finished at least one project some time this century and not just kept starting new ones.
Check it out, you just might like it.
Hah yes i hadnt thought of that. Oh well its better than having to run i guess, and since the tomb stalker has fairly low WS anyway it's actually quite possible to kill it after crunching some numbers. Not great chances but better than having a sweeping advance :s
