Hey everyone, I'm going to NOVA this year with a couple friends and need to start prepping my list, tweaking as needed once any NOVA Faqs come out. SO I have played one game of 6th so far with the old kan wall list from last edition, and it got massacred, would probably still have been massacred even if we followed the outflanking rules correctly. That being said, it's a core of my army flavor wise, and it's only 410 points, so it stays. That being said, almost everything else is flexible, so here's what I'm thinking and will playtest. These are based on minis as I have them modeled, I could rip off arms and change them on nobs if needed.

I'm looking forward to play testing each list - I know the kans would be better as all rockits or all grotzookas, but I like having the variety, sometimes it just surprises the opponent.
For each one I would also role on the strategic table for the war commander characteristics, the other 2 columns don't seem to suit me.

You Kans are all armed wrong. Skorchas are really a waste for thier added BS. I understand variety, but I think BShootas would have been a better choice. They could at least fire while on the move. The skorchas are only going to fire if and when they get close enough. effectively making them useless. IMHO

List 3 is illegal as you need 4 troops.

Your right, I didn't catch that on the 4 troops, adjustments will be made. Honestly i've been pretty competitive with this list, I do appreciate the skorchas being not very effective, but it's something people shoot at and it allows the boyz to get in closer while people are worried about the grotz.

Kans are an equally good fire magnet with big shootas as with skorchas, but might actually kill something in shooting

the nice thing about skorchas on kans is overwatch, but you're counting on being assaulted.
