I can't put my finger on it, but something about Vayl's face doesn't look quite right. Otherwise they are both superb. I especially like that wreath of frost between the two orbs in her hand.

Always a pleasure seeing your work, however I agree with Dais. I think it's a case of the pupil being so centred. It's as if she's not looking at anything in particular.

Perhaps it's just the angle though.

I think its the angle. Have you tried making a paste out of the snow flock with water and white glue. I think that gives you a much more realistic look.
