I am aware that Ahriman will probably get an update in a month or so, but for now I will use this version for games among friends. What do you think? Beyond psychic power goodness, he's not overkill. He is still essentially 3 space marines when you start shooting those Drop Pod storm bolters at his unit

Ahriman of the Thousand Sons

225pts

WS BS S T W I A LD SV
5 5 4 4 3 5 3 10 3+

Type: Infantry, Independent Character, Unique, Psyker

Special Rules: Mastery Level 3, Fearless, Adamantium Will

Wargear: The Black Staff, Book of Magnus, Inferno Bolt Pistol.

Master of Sorcery: Ahriman knows Bolt of Change, Doombolt, Wind of Chaos, Warptime and Gift of Chaos from Codex: Chaos Space Marines. Alternatively, he may generate three psychic powers from the Pyromancy, Telekinesis, or Telepathy disciplines. Ahriman may use multiple powers that count as a psychic shooting attack.

The Black Staff: Force Staff. Ahriman automatically passes the psychic test to activate his weapon's Force special rule, and this does not use up a Warp Charge.

Book of Magnus: Before deployment, Ahriman may select a single psychic power from any discipline in the Warhammer 40,000 rulebook.

The Black Staff: Reword to include that it doesn't use Warp Charge. Otherwise, while not counting towards the 3 limit, it still takes a warp charge.

Looks fine, maybe even 225 or 200 points.

Pit your chainsword against my chainsw- wait that's Heresy.

You're right. Thanks!

I started at 225, then realized he's getting to be towards Eldrad.
