I think I just found my Overlord for my old-school Necron army

Nice! She has a kind of Dr. Who vibe about her.

Their entire Retro Raygun line is neat. Nice find, Insaniak!!

The secret to painting a really big army is to keep at it. You can't reach your destination if you never take any steps.

I build IG...lots and lots of IG.

I think i am in agreement with you Insaniak - though I'm perfectly comfortable with fielding her as an Overlord, Lord, or Cryptek in my new-school Necron army.

Automatically Appended Next Post:
How much does she cost and when will she go on sale though?

Pre- Dr Who I'd say. The queens's style is very much Metropolis inspired

After seeing some more of the range, I'd be tempted to build a counts-as Necron force (maybe just a small detachment, considering the somewhat limited range of models).

The kooky 50's style retro look is well done, and would be a fun change of aesthetic pace on the table-top!

Very nice! Would go together well with Frozen Planet Studio's line of Sci-Fi miniatures.

The Queen looks like she's carrying a Wand of Bling from Dungeon of Dredmor...

What harm can it do to find out? It's a question that left bruises down the centuries, even more than "It can't hurt if I only take one" and "It's all right if you only do it standing up." Terry Pratchett, Making Money

"Can a magician kill a man by magic?" Lord Wellington asked Strange. Strange frowned. He seemed to dislike the question. "I suppose a magician might," he admitted, "but a gentleman never could." Susanna Clarke Jonathan Strange & Mr. Norrell
