2000 even. List edited to reflect changes. What do you guys think? Will this be any good? Are beastmasters no good anymore due to wound allocation, or is it ok just to stick the khymarea in front and hope the squad makes it to CC? Could dump them for fortifications or eldar allies...

I don't think you need the shardnets on the 5-man wych squads. When you fight a walker you're 99% going to strike first, and after that it will likely be dead. No use giving it one less attack if it never gets to attack. Besides with the 4+ invul enough of your wyches will survive for round two if necessary. I think the points would be better spent on missiles for your voidravens.

That sounds reasonable. I'd guess the missiles would be better in general even if the nets could help out in the odd assault. Thanks for the feedback!

The smaller wrack squad will have both FNP and FC. The other will just have FNP to start.

Ok, here's a slight revision. I dumped the sharnets on the small wych squads and put flickerfields on the flyers. I know the flyers get jink saves, but if they use them, they're firing snap shots next turn, which is not acceptable.

The dark eldar flyers don't have the hover rule, so my understanding is they have to move. Correct me if I'm wrong or misunderstood. If I am right FF would not be 100% necessary. I agree that the blood stone is a nice surprise, as cool as the power weapons are in 6th, it is good to have to possibly thin some crowds down before rushing in for the assault

You could drop the FF in favour of just using the 5+ jink save, though that then means you can't shoot in your following turn, so the appeal is that you can have the same save as everyone else, whilst still being able to shoot in the following turn.
The only thought I've had would be to get the stereotypical Ago-trix with the 5 woman Wych squads, though to do that you'll need to find about 20 point (iirc) for each one. I can only see you doing that by dropping some of the beasts or losing the ff's on your bombers and putting up with jink saves, gotta question if it's worth it then though. Or, looking at it again, dropping a bomber or the r'wing. Dropping the r'wing though gives you little in the way of anti terminator weaponry, and with little or no power weapons you'll struggle against them in cc, which is where you HAVE to be...
You could drop a bomber in favour of upgrades;
- ago-trix's
- wwp on your haemy, makes it harder for you to get bogged down by mass gun fights if you're coming in from the centre table or better
Other tricks I've found to work well:
- Raider with warriors.
Raider takes night shields, splinter racks and flickfields, 10 warriors take blaster ans splinter cannon. This is brilliant against lightly armoured troops and has decimated IG for me in the past, even putting a sizeable dent in some CSM's too.
- Raider with wyches
Raider takes NS, FF, Torment Grenade launchers and grisly trophies. Wyches have a hekatrix with phantasm grenade launcher. You likely come out on top due to a squad with good inv saves, and force your opponent to take his Ld test at a decent modifier or re-roll (for the life of me, can't remember wych which right now). They lose, you wipe 'em out on the charge, and gain a pain token. The only sticking point with this one is that you could be left out in the open, though equally if you've positioned your Raider between another squds guns and the wyches, you'll save your pricier unit from being targeted, who can then be picked up by another Raider later. (Sounds more effort than it actually is)
- Venoms
Give 'em chains! Inflicting hits before the squads even in cc? Go on my son! It may not be much (D6 s3 i think) though it's only about 5 points - easy enough to get back on a horde squad for certain (worked for me against a group of about 15 shoota boys, can see it being equally effective against gaunts)
,,,, I best get back to work - hope that helps in some way
