Are these men Heavy Machine Gunners? or are they PRTD Anti-tank team?

If they are PRTD Anti-tank team, I will have to base them in two's, i.e. four figures on one medium base.
If they are HMG-team, this basing is correct? or do they need to be based on the long edge of the small base?

These are not HMG - this is Degtaryev Light machine gun and should be placed along with other infantry on the middle base. HMG will be the Maxim's Machine Guns like You can see for example here

Back in the English morass

Thats a DP light machine gun. They are used in standard infantry teams (rifle/mg teams have 1 ever second base, MG teams get 1 per base and rifle teams don't get any).

I'm not sure about PTRD basing, my Finnish AT rifles are on a small base (using a single 2 man team) and no one has ever complained. The orientation of the base itself doesn't matter.

The prefect example of someone missing the point.
Do not underestimate the Squats. They survived for millenia cut off from the Imperium and assailed on all sides. Their determination and resilience is an example to us all.

Its just a shame that they couldn't fight off Andy Chambers.

Thanks guys. I got them from PSC in a large pack of summer uniform soldiers. I guess I mixed them up, because I have a british paratroppers army list too.

And the PSC box actually includes PTRS, not PTRD anti-tank rifles.
Btw, do You need another box of PSC Russian Heavy weapons?
