Time to get my guard painted and table ready. I'm starting by re-painting all my tanks. The infantry will look like the ones from the book. Like this guy and here are the tanks too.

Really nice. I like a painter who is consistent. Subbed.

Every Dakkanaught gets a 4+ Pinch of Salt save.
When you suffer a Falling Sky hit, roll a D6 - on a 4+ the hit is ignored as per the Pinch of Salt save. On a 1-3 panic insues - you automatically fail common sense tests for the next 2 weeks and get +7 to your negativity stat. -Praxiss

Here are the boys so far. I'm about to build another Platoon command squad, and a Leman Russ Punisher.

After seeing the army in one shot, I agree with lunarman. Still nice, but unfinished.

Very Unfinished. Thats just 2 colors and no shading or highlightings. I need to still do everything on the tanks... the guys... the walkers......Thats the work in progress base coating step. I'm finding that I want more guard but I wrote a list and it was over 3k with a standard force org chart....

that can't be 3k unless you're playing Apocalypse as normal games do not allow super heavies.

2k

Agreed with the general consensus here, but I'm not sure how to quite put it, I wouldn't exactly say unfinished, but something is definitely missing from the scheme, it looks a bit sort of toy-like t me, if that makes any sense. Some darker colours here and there, or some washing would definitely benefit you, but as far as the actual painting goes, quite nice, keep working on them c:

I like how clean they look. But this is War!!!! hammer. All your minis need to look like you tied them to the back of a jeep and drove through a muddy swamp or they are no good.

Thanks for the input guys, but again.... thats just the base coat... they aren't finished at all..... its just an example of the progress thus far.

Again there aren't any highlights, none of the tracks are done, none of the lenses, and none of the guns. I also need to do the weathering. Each tank will probably take me 4-6 hours to complete.

you also misunderstood my post. I wrote a list that was 3k with things I want. The picture doesn't represent that list.
