Page 68 under Malediction states:
"Note that bonuses and penalties from different maledictions are always cumulative ....."
I take it to mean 'different maledctions' as in different named psychic powers that are maledictions, not different castings of the same Malediction power. Is that wrong?

Effects from different psycic powers of the Malediction type are cumulative, ''Different'' being the word of note here.

I have a little hobby-thread going in the P&M section. Some say it's the best blog on Dakka, some don't agree, most belive it would be better if I finished at least one project some time this century and not just kept starting new ones.
Check it out, you just might like it.

The way I read it is, Pg 68 of the brb says, "Note that bonuses and penalties from different maledictions are always cumulative..." so how would you spam it multiple times on a unit? If the intent was so, the word different would not be there, it would just say that bonuses and penalties of maledictions are cumulative.
I'm reading this right aren't I?

Yeah, the key word is "different". In 5th ALL bonuses stacked, but pyscic powers were a lot less prevailent so it didn't really matter for anyone who wasn't GK.
Speaking of which, does that mean Hammerhand no longer stacks?

Couple of things here. Although a first reading may imply that you can't stack malediction, this statement also doesn't directly deny it for two reasons.
Reason #1) Because your interpretation of different means "different powers". Different in this case could mean different names. Different could also mean different application of a psychic power. This is weak but is an alternate reading. Not as important as Reason #2.
Reason #2) Assuming we mean "different powers" which I agree it seems is the most literal translation, the statement is only serving to give you permission to stack different psychic powers. It is not barring you from stacking the same power nor granting you permission. As such, the only instructions we have available are to apply the rules as written for the psychic power in question.
In other words, by stating that multiple different powers can stack, the statement itself is not sufficient to either confirm or deny that multiples of the same psychic power can stack. All it tells us is that multiples of different ones can.
So, to know that multiples of the same can't stack, we would need an instruction to that effect.
Might sound kind of dumb, but the reality is, there are no rules which tell us for certain if enfeeble can stack or not as far as I can tell.

I am of the opinion that all spells stack, even if the same power has been cast twice.
Of course HH is neither a Blessing or Malediction, probably an oversight, so the specifics don't apply.

So is this a grey area that needs an FAQ or what? How have most people been playing this?
