The Steam servers appear to be all but dead. I can't access the store and my games aren't updating.

Yeah, I hadn't bought Shogun 2 yet, and the package deal included FotS at 71% off for the deal. 20 bucks for the game, the expansion and the rise of the samurai thingy is about what I was waiting for.
Have you checked out the Sega pack? All of the Total War games, including FotS, and loads of other Sega games for £34.99. I'd pick it up if I could gift my duplicates.

I got Modern Warfare 3 cause it was thirty bucks, and for that, I can believe the price. The campaign was too short though. I beat it in six hours or so...
But co-op is fun, and multiplayer is a passable way to pass the time.
