Im a little confused here, when a first read the WH40k 6th edition rulebook i thought the rule DIVIDE FIRE from the special rule section in the page 38 (which allows 1 miniature with this rule to shoot a different unit than the one your current unit is shooting to, after a successful leadership test) would be the new rule for THE LONG FANGS that is called FIRE CONTROL (which allows any number of miniature to shoot a different unit than your current unit is shooting to, without any leadership test)....

After reading the FAQ i didn't see in any part that fire control is replaced by divide fire.....can anyone confirm these or am i experiencing just a space wolves paranoia.............

No, Divided Fire did not replace Fire Control.

Onto the opinions of Long Fangs, the trend looks to be changing with them due to the changes to AP-1/2 ranged weapons.

They still get cheap lascannon. People were already switching to 2 Las 2 missile due to the need to deal with Paladins.
