This seems to come up when replying to a topic where the SUBJECT contains no capital letters, for example the 1999+1 thread in general at the moment.

Unnessesarily extravegant word of the week award goes to jcress410 for this:

Yeah it can happen with the subject heading.
It's one of the reasons it gets really annoying when people make a thread title all caps. That damn pop up.

It also happens when you start a post with only one sentence that starts with a number.

It's also quite easy to ignore, just hit enter or click it.

Nevertheless it's a glitch and I'm reporting it.

Which is a reason we should all protest any threads with an annoying topic.

Isn't that what this thread is for in a way? Simply enough if a "Why" was thrown onto the beginning of it the problem in that thread would be gone until it is actually fixed.

Yeah it is a bit annoying in the odd instance where it is unwarranted, but on the whole Dakka has been an enlightened and more pleasant place because of the aggressive use of it. I do need to tone it down on the subjects for reply messages - thought I had already done so in fact, but I guess not

At least it doesn't affect quick reply for obvious reasons.
