As a Descent of Angels player, making a list in 6th edition has been... challenging. Here's my latest attempt - I'd love your input.

HQ
• Librarian w/Bolt Pistol, Jump Pack
• Reclusiarch w/Hand Flamer

Elites
• 5 Sanguinary Guard w/1 Power Fist, 2 Infernus Pistols
• 1 Sanguinary Priest w/Jump Pack

Troops
• 10 Assault Marines w/Jump Packs, 2 Meltaguns, Sergeant w/Power Fist
• 5 Assault Marines w/1 Flamer, Sergeant w/Hand Flamer, in a Razorback w/Lascannons
• 5 Assault Marines w/1 Flamer, Sergeant w/Hand Flamer, in a Razorback w/Lascannons
• 5 Death Company w/1 Hand Flamer, in a Razorback w/Heavy Flamers

Heavy Support
• 5 Devastators w/4 Missile Launchers, in a Drop Pod w/Locator Beacon

The Librarian, Sanguinary Priest, and Sanguinary Guard form my elite combat unit. Their job is to take on my opponent's hardest target that needs to be killed in melee. The Reclusiarch, on the other hand, hangs out with the Death Company. They have a similar role, but are better equipped to take on swarms, with their flame-throwing transport and truly stupid number of attacks. The Laserbacks and Devastators provide a combination of tank-cracking and long-range fire support.

All the assault squads are meant to grab objectives, either by dropping out of the sky and taking them, deploying in my backfield to protect them, or driving up in their razorbacks. As you can see, the drop squad is equipped to help out with tank-hunting, while the razorback squads are equipped to take charges (d3 hits per flamer in overwatch!).

There are a couple of other builds I've kicked around. I have a Baal Predator which I could either outflank or deploy and scout move, and I've considered using it instead of the Devastators. Another element I could swap in is my Stormraven and an Honor Guard, instead of Sanguinary Guard (which would free up the Sanguinary Priest to hang out with the Assault Squad). However, I'm pretty leery of using the Stormraven to carry troops, and the limitations placed on flyers seem like they'd make the Stormraven good at fighting other flyers, but not so great at long-range fire support, which is what I really need here. I've also considered using scout squads (probably with sniper rifles and/or missile launchers) as my "anchor" units (the stuff I have to deploy so I can reserve the things I want to deep strike) instead of Laserback Assault Squads, but I'm not sure scouts are worth it.

Anyway... what do you think?

I love scouts to death give them a Camo cloak and a stick to hide behind and i have seen them outlast termies (to rare have seen it)
yes the limitations for the SR are a bit hurtfull but the assault vehical and supportfire from the machine spirit makes it worth it IMO
I think you need to keep the Devs becouse 1 BS 5 shot +3 BS 4 multi flexible shots are realy realy nice especaly with the new Flakk rounds for the AA
I would get anouther Drop pod just in case you dont want to drop your devs in first turn you can chuse the outher one and put the DC in it and give the Razerback to Scouts so you have a fire support thats free to run around and help out where needed and can pick up guys if there armor is knocked out

Do you ever go into a fight thinking "there's no point giving it my best, I'll get another chance later?"

We only ever get one shot marlin. Life is one shot
