I was thinking about loading up a small unit of 5 death marks with two despairteks into a night scythe. Does the Abyssal staff still work in 6E? When I was playing them under 5E the abyssal staff wounded on a 2+ (str8 AP1 template) against the unit that was marked instead of the usual way in which the staff caused wounds.

Does the staffweilder get the marked bonus?

It's still in the FAQ after they updated it for 6th and thus it still applies.

They are also better than before now the Night Scythe can drop them off up to 30" in with no chance of getting shot down beforehand (unless your opponent is bringing an interceptor weapon).
