Hi,

First post here, so sorry if this has been covered already. Have done a search.

Had a Daemon v Nid battle last night and had problems with his FMC. Having had a look at rules / codex came up with this.

If Hive Tyrant is with in 12" of a FMC any of it's Psychic powers are shooting powers which automatic hit. This would cause a grounding test.

Does this work or have I missed something?

Thanks

Indeed, you get a chance to ground it. Think the psychic power disorientating the creature

Huh... I think he is referring to things like Paroxysm; which is a shooting attack, that autohits, but only has an effect and not 'damage'.

But technically, it is a 'hit' so.....

Even better, if your tervigon casts Onslaught on your swooping flyrant, it will need to take a grounding test....

Not as funny as a markelight felling a FMC, but yes, as the rule currently stands, the creature only has to be hit by a shooting attack
