I've recently moved away from home and I have decided to start a new army but I can't decide between these three. So I was wondering what people think I should start to build, paint, and game with? I am open to other suggestions as well

These types of questions depend on you really but I'll bite. I can't speak much for daemons as I've not played them much, but but the rumor is that chaos is getting a new codex soon so that might be something you should think about.
As far as Tyranids go, I can tell you that they are my favorite army, but they can be a tricky army to deal with. Being able to pre-measure helps, but Tyranids have a lot of synergy (more than just from synapse) and every unit can take on multiple roles depending on the rest of the list. Also when you make mistakes with Tyranids, they usually cost you more (in game terms) than with armies such as space marines. If you pick them, be ready to go through a bit of a learning phase that usually involves a few good losses.
Good Luck

Well with chaos you can ally and use both, so can pick and choose your favorite models from two codex. With tyranids you just get tyranids.
Chaos has some awesome synergy between demons/marines.

As a long time Chaos player I always love chaos, but the 'nid models are all pretty awesome as well. If you wait for the newly coming CSM codex you can actually combine Chaos marines and Chaos daemons into a single force using allies. So you can cover 2 of the 3 armies on your interest list. That said a fully built and painted tyranid horde is a beautiful thing and I love seeing them on the table in all their glory. Picking an army is a lot of personal opinion. Tyranids, chaos marines and chaos daemons all play very differently from each other on the table top despite each having some solid close combat abilities. They have different strengths and weaknesses too. Many 'nids will not get saves against most weapons out there, meanwhile daemons all have invulnerable saves. Chaos marines, in power armor, have the staying power of regular space marines.
Some people will tell you that currently none of these armies are worth playing because of this rule or that rule or whatever. For me what has always worked is to buy the minis that like best and build the army for them. That way no matter what happens, win or lose, I enjoy using the army. So I would look at the figure lines and decide what stuff you like best and just go from there.

Chaos is my vote, I got bored of the nilla marines quickly. The bugs might be fun but you really cant make the models stand out like you can chaos. When you have to paint 30 stealers all the same it gets boring fast .

Every Dakkanaught gets a 4+ Pinch of Salt save.
When you suffer a Falling Sky hit, roll a D6 - on a 4+ the hit is ignored as per the Pinch of Salt save. On a 1-3 panic insues - you automatically fail common sense tests for the next 2 weeks and get +7 to your negativity stat. -Praxiss

Welcome to the xenos/heretic boat, friend! It's a bit leaky and marines sail by in their yacht jeering us whenever we get a nerf, which is every thursday, but you'll not want for camaraderie!
Nids is a good pick if you like painting hordes and/or humongous monstrous creatures. Rules, wise, they've been hit a bit with the new edition but with the right psyker powers can still be very dangerous. No allies, though...that's for uber-social Black Templars.
Chaos Marines have some of the strengths of loyalist marines (the same armor save, many vehicles and special weapons), but with a twist. They can get marks to specialize units, have very useful specialist troops (berserkers for assaults, plagues for defense, etc). Many units are overcosted, but at least the codex update seems to be close. They also have some exotic stuff that sets them apart (Daemon Princes, Obliterators).
Chaos Daemons is a very close-range assault army, mostly. It can be fun to paint, and currently seems to focus on spamming big flying daemons and tzeentch flamers. The wonky deploy may be a dealbreaker, though.

In Boxing matches, you actually get paid to take a dive and make the other guy look good.
In Warhammer 40K, you're expected to pay cash out of your pocket for the privilege of having Marines and IG trample all over your Xenos/Chaos. |

I would go with chaos. I really have no idea as to demons or marines, but if you like tanks and khorne berzerkerz and that kinda stuff, go with chaos marines. If you like... well, demons, go with demons.
