Is the bomb big enough?

The only thing I really have a problem with is the fact the pilot has no body. It's just a head stuck on...

Yeah, I kinda cheated that. I'll have to go back and fix it.

First of all - awesome job! Sticking the Bomb to the stand is a brilliant idea! The bomb has been released and the plane is banking away - so cool.

Second - who cares if you can't see the body? The body is in the cockpit - how is that not understood?

Finally - the base, while nicely detailed, is not a flying base. IMO correcting that takes precedence over worrying about the body of the pilot

It hasn't got a neck even...

Simple solution. Say they made the plane to be able to fly in space, so they made it entirely enclosed. Then when they saw they couldn't see outside, they cut a hole in the top for the ork to pop his head out and look.

ORK LOGIC!

I'm expecting an Imperial Knights supplement dedicated to GW's loyalist apologetics. Codex: White Knights "In the grim dark future, everything is fine."

"The argument is that we have to do this or we will, bit by bit,
lose everything that we hold dear, everything that keeps the business going. Our crops will wither, our children will die piteous
deaths and the sun will be swept from the sky."

But it's modelled open... If he had painted it or modelled it so it looked like his head was the only thing able to show I wouldn't complain.

I'm complaining because it looks like a head stuck on to a plane by his chin...

I second the issue with the neck. It looks...odd.

Thanks for the compliment and the info on the base. I'll have to scare up an correct one.

Maybe the Ork is only a head - he is wired into the plane ala Killa Kan style!

First of all, it's a well built and painted model. Everything is tied together and nothing sticks out as not fitting. The released bomb is a brilliant touch.

As for other people's replies, the head being glued on really isn't that much of an issue, all in all. I wouldn't even have mentioned it. But it seems that everyone somehow must complain about something and can't leave it at good job.

Also, the base doesn't matter, ruleswise you stick it on the base the model comes with, this is a custom job, there's no rule saying you have to have a flyer base. Also, ruleswise the base is mostly ignored and if an opponent has an issue with it you can just call it by eye measurements of feasability. Really not an issue. Not enough to even be mentioned IMO.

So people, stop complaining, it's a well executed conversion that blows 99% of what you see on the table out of the water, seeing as most people just glue kits together and call it a day.

I really don't get why the majority of posters feel the need to give feedback, and at the end go "but.. I don't like X". Everyone posting what they don't like about something will at the end amount to the entire model "not being liked". So what's the point?

To the OP, well done. Brilliant model, would love to meet it on the table.

EDIT: My post #100 and it's a drunken rant. That's so me.

Yep. The wing shootas, the bombs, and the infamous Ork pilot head sans body.

***Sigh***.

Ork torso is too wide to fit in the cockpit, and I was lazy.

If I had bothered to paint the interior of the cockpit black, no one would have known the difference in the photo.
